This section outlines the steps to edit an existing pipeline alert:

1. **Access the Mezmo Web Application**
Log in to your Mezmo account and navigate to the **Pipelines** section.

2. **Select the Target Pipeline**
Choose the pipeline containing the alert you want to edit and click **Edit Pipeline**.

3. **Locate the Alert Source/Processor**
Identify the source or processor associated with the alert and click it to open its configuration.

4. **Access Alert Configuration**
Click the three dots (···) and select **Alerts** to view all alerts for that source/processor.

5. **Edit the Alert**

* Click the alert name to select it and modify its **name** or **description**.
* Configure the **alert type** (e.g., threshold, pattern match).
* Adjust the **payload** and specify where the alert should be sent (e.g., email, webhook).

6. **Save and Deploy Changes**
Click **Save**, then close the editor. Finally, click **Deploy Pipeline** to apply the changes permanently.

## Saving and Deploying Changes

After configuring the alert, you must explicitly save and deploy updates to ensure they take effect. The steps are:
