# Decrypt Field Processor

## Decrypt Field Processor

**Purpose:** Decrypts encrypted fields in-flight, enabling further processing before sending data to its final destination.

**Key Features:**

* **Decryption Options:** Choose an algorithm (e.g., AES-256-CFB) and provide a decryption key.
* **Initialization Vector (IV):** Required for some algorithms to decode data correctly.

**Steps to Add:**

1. Edit the pipeline and click **Add Processor**.
2. Select **Decrypt Field** and configure:

* Target encrypted field name.
* Decryption algorithm.
* Key and IV (initialization vector) for the field.
