# Datadog Agent Integration

## Datadog Agent Integration

1. **Prerequisites**:

* Contact a Mezmo representative via Customer Success to enable this feature (Early Access only).
* Datadog Agent version must be **7.35 or higher** (or 6.35 for older versions).

2. **Configuration Steps**:

* In *Edit Pipeline*, add a source and select the **Datadog Agent** option.
* Enter a title and description for the source (e.g., "Datadog-Mezmo-Prod").
* **Generate API Key**:
* In the *Access Key Management Panel*, click *Create New Key*.
* Set the key type to **User-Defined** and paste a Datadog API key (create a dedicated key for Mezmo).
* Two URLs are generated:
* `dd-logs-config-logs-dd-url` for log ingestion.
* `dd-dd-url` for the pipeline endpoint.

3. **Update Datadog Agent**:

* Modify your Datadog agent configuration to point to the generated Mezmo URLs.

**Note**: Ensure the API key is scoped exclusively to Mezmo to avoid unintended data exposure.
