# Creating a Processor Group from Scratch

## Creating a Processor Group from Scratch

**Intro:** This method allows you to build a processor group manually.

1. **Log in to Mezmo** and navigate to the *Pipelines* section in the left-hand menu.
2. **Create a new processor group:**

* Click *Processor Groups* and select *New Processor Group*.
* Add a **title** and **description** explaining the group’s purpose.
* Click *Save*.

3. **Add processors:**

* A new page opens to add individual processors to the group.
* Select processors, configure their settings, and save changes.

4. **Join group inputs:**

* Ensure the first node in the group is configured as a "joined input" to connect to all subsequent processors.

5. **Publish the group:**

* Click *Publish Processor Group*. Confirm by selecting *Publish* again.
* The group is now available for use in pipelines.

**Note:** Ensure you understand how to configure "joined inputs" as this step is critical for proper data flow.
