# AWS SQS Source Configuration

## AWS SQS Source Configuration

1. **Add Source**: In *Edit Pipeline* mode, choose the **AWS SQS** source from the Sources pane.
2. **Configuration Fields**:

* **Title**: Optional identifier for the source (e.g., "SQS-Queue-Dev").
* **Description**: Optional context.
* **QURL**: The AWS SQS queue URL (obtained from the AWS Console).
* **AWS Access Key**: Credentials for authentication.
* **Region**: Specify the AWS region (default US East 1).

3. **Save**: Click *Save* to finalize the source.

**Key Difference from S3**: SQS is a message queue, while S3 is an object storage service. Ensure the SQS URL points to the correct queue for data ingestion.
